In this age of Facebook and Twitter, where we can only speak in so many characters, we’ve become a nation of big statements condensed into small words. On that same note, in this age of war and joblessness, we have also become a nation that could use a laugh or two. Funny movies, funny songs, funny television shows, funny…stickers? Funny stickers are a great little way to have a great big laugh. They’ve been making you smile since you were a kid, so why not let them make you smile as an adult?
There are so many uses for these tiny, inexpensive, laughing devices. First of all and probably the most obvious, you can put them on your car! You’ve probably been on your way through a parking lot, stomping across the hot asphalt because you had to park a mile from the mall, when you see a gleaming little slogan on the side of a 1988 sedan shouting, “My other car is a Corvette.” Or you were sitting in traffic, late for a meeting, after you spilled your coffee on your slacks, and you realized you were directly behind, “Forget world peace…visualize using your turn signal.” These stickers didn’t move the mall closer to your car and they definitely decrease traffic on the highway that morning, but they sure did make you laugh when you were feeling blue. Do the same for someone else…invest in a funny sticker for your car!
Not only are they good for your vehicle, you can just stick them in random places to make people laugh. Whether it means leaving one on your co-workers desk when you know he or she is having a terrible day, or sticking one on your mom’s coffee mug so she can have a good laugh first thing in the morning, brighten someone’s day with a funny sticker!
In all seriousness, funny stickers don’t have to be just one big joke. You can use them for business purposes too. A new craze in the world of business marketing is using stickers to replace expensive billboards and commercials. While those mass media tools do get a business owner’s message out, stickers help to fill in the cracks. Advertise your business with a catchy, silly slogan on a sticker. There are sticker companies who produce them as bumper stickers, regular stickers, and window decals. Take your business to the next level and hand out a few free laughs along the way!
Many of those same companies allow you to turn their stickers into other things. Not only can you have your favorite funny slogan on a sticker, you can have it on a t-shirt, on a magnet, or even a keychain.
Realizing you’re in the mood for a few laughs? Your next step should be to get online and start looking! Think of a slogan you like and get to ordering! Better yet, find a company that allows for personalization and come up with your own one-liner. A Good sticker manufacturer will be there with great customer service and be ready and willing to answer any questions you might have along the way. Before you place your order, remember that buying more than one sticker can save you money, so buy some for members of your organization or for your employees. Orders at many companies generally ship in within twenty-four hours of placing your order. Then put your funny saying on a t-shirt, put it on the fridge with a magnet, attach it to your book bag with a button, or put it on your bumper and let the laughs begin!
